Insulation cost in Delray Beach
Blown-in attic work here most often lands between $1,500 and $4,000. That is the range we publish. Everything else moves off attic size, what has to come out, and whether the roof deck is in play.
| Job | What moves the price | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Blown-in to R-38 | $1,500–$4,000 is the range we stand behind for a typical Delray attic | 1 day |
| Removal, then new insulation | How dirty, how deep, and whether the hatch cooperates | 1–2 days |
| Spray foam on the roof deck | Roof area, open-cell vs closed-cell, prep. Not a phone guess | 1–2 days |
| Air sealing on its own | Cans, fans, chases, hatch. Often bundled into the blow | Half day |
What makes it higher
- The old insulation is wet, packed, or has to be bagged out.
- Low roof, tiny hatch, or a long hose run from the truck.
- Knee walls, garages under living space, and additions that were never tied in.
- Spray foam because the air handler sits in the attic.
- Bath fans that were never ducted outside. We do not bury those.
What should not
- A brand name on the bag when the depth is the same.
- A “whole home system” speech for a vented ranch that needs a top-up.
- An FPL dollar amount we cannot confirm this month. Incentives change. We check.
- Living-area square footage used as the attic square footage. They are not the same.
